In September 2021, APS published a white paper on the Anthem reimbursement policy update for sexually transmitted infection testing (click here for the original white paper). The new policy had an effective date for claims on or after December 1, 2021. Anthem has retracted this reimbursement policy for all lines of business and markets effective July 1, 2022.
