In a recent article of Anthem’s provider communication publication, it was announced that Provider contract and fee schedule changes would now be announced through electronic notification. Starting in Mid-July, Anthem will be rolling out the electronic notifications of these changes. Providers will be able to log in to Availity and download the digital copy of the changes made to their contracts or fee schedules.
When Anthem notifications are received regarding fee schedule updates or provider contract amendments, the content will now be downloaded from Availity.com. In order to take advantage of this update, Provider will need to log in to Availity and access the Provider Online Reporting application to register authorized users they wish to be notified of the changes. This will allow the users to see future newsletter articles notifying them when they can download content regarding the changes.
