DHCS CA Medi-Cal Will Be Holding Checks for the Fiscal Year

On June 5, 2018, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) CA Medi-Cal released a statement that there will be a two week check hold on provider payments due to the Fiscal Year ending. This means, CA Medi-Cal will be holding payments beginning June 21, 2018 thru July 6, 2018 and will resume at the beginning of the new Fiscal Year. This will apply to all Medi-Cal Fee-For-Service (FFS) and to all State-Funded programs, including Medicaid. It is important to mention that there is no loss of payments; however, delayed due to Fiscal Year.  Nevertheless, APS will continue to submit claims without delay.
